High-net-worth individuals with at least USD 1 million in total assets who wish to reside long-term in Thailand.
Retirees aged 50+ with stable passive income of at least USD 80,000/year (pension, rental, dividends, interest, realized capital gains).
Make a qualifying investment of at least USD 250,000 in Thai government bonds, Thai companies or real estate (in your name).
Remote workers earning an average of at least USD 80,000/year over the past two years, employed by a qualifying overseas company.
If income is USD 40,000–80,000, additional qualifications (e.g. a master's degree) are required.
Experts in BOI-targeted industries earning at least USD 80,000/year (average, last two years). Government-agency employees are exempt from the income requirement.
Legal spouse and children under 20 of an LTR holder — up to 4 dependents per visa holder. Fee: 25,000 THB per dependent.
